A weekend in the country

Had a lovely weekend visiting Brian and Christine down in Wiltshire, and the weather was spring sunshine in February. We went to visit the Snowdrop Walk at Heale House. This is a house set in 8 acres of grounds in Upper Woodford. Evidently King Charles II hid here in 1651 (but I think he's probably gone by now.... or maybe not...)

There is a stream where Christine used to go fishing....

buzzards fly overhead and on the ground aconites and snowdrops abound....

An indoors day

Well, I was going to put a few more photos on, but the computer he say 'no'. Had a tantrum and refused download any more than these. I just liked the way the light came through the window through the rain.

And a few pretty prisms - haven't done that for ages Just looked lovely on the ceiling...
